Improved and extended version of Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The title has improved graphics, all DLC sets and optional playable characters.

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX is a traditional jRPG with a turn-based combat system, which is part of the Atelier series, created and developed by Gust, a studio owned by the Japanese company Koei Tecmo. However, the title is not a completely new installment of the series, but an improved version of Atelier Meruru, which was originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2011. The title was also a direct sequel to Atelier Rorona and Atelier Totori, which appeared on the same platform. The DX edition features additional content that was introduced in the expanded port of the original game, released in 2013 on PlayStation Vita.

Plot

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX doesn't offer an elaborate and epic story in which we save the whole world in the finale, because the story presented in the series doesn't have the weight of many other RPGs. The game is the culmination of the Arland trilogy, seeing the return of many characters known from Atelier Rorona and Atelier Totori including the protagonists of both titles.
