SONIC R is an amazing three-dimensional arcade game, transferred directly from the Sega Saturn console to the PC platform. While on vacation, Tails and Sonic hit the announcement of a great World Championship in races. At first Sonic was not interested in the races, but when he saw that Dr. Robotnik had enrolled on the starting list, he decided to take part in them.

The worker was only interested in races because of the location of the Emeralds of Chaos, which gave the owner an advantage over all the rivals and which could be won on the rally route. Sonic's friend Knuckes ed the race and decided to help him fight the cunning Worker.

The main character participates in fun races, which are held in completely twisted sceneries. Together with others he runs, jumps, bounces off springs, overcomes winding loops and ramps. You have to be really fast and agile to win in this race. There are three different game modes to choose from: Grand Prix, Time Attack and multiplayer.

In the Grand Prix championship we have to prove that we are the fastest in the world by participating in a whole series of races. In Time Attack mode we not only race against time, but also collect the maximum number of points by breaking the balloons. Multiplayer mode lets you play together with friends on twisted loops, crazy hills and ramps.
