A story expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online MMO. Seasons of the Worm Cult add-on takes players to a new zone - a tropical island called Solstice. The heroes must face the forces of the titular cult. This expansion was divided into Part 1 and Part 2, released several months apart.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Worm Cult is an expansion with a new zone and a new storyline, created for the 2014 MMORPG game by ZeniMax Online studio. It was released in the traditional timeframe for launching major expansions (chapters), but this DLC is smaller in size and represents a new form of production development. The add-on was sold as part of the 2025 Content and was split into two parts (Part 1 and Part 2), which were released a few months apart.

Solstice Island

In Seasons of the Worm Cult we travel to the tropical island of Solstice, located off the southwest coast of Tamriel. Until recently, it was a virtually unknown place, considered by some inhabitants of the continent to be cursed, but it has been colonized and opened for trade in recent times. The zone is divided - just like the add-on itself - into two parts.

Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1

The add-on somewhat continues the story from the base version of The Elder Scrolls Online, once again placing the titular Worm Cult as the main antagonists. In Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1, players land in the western part of Solstice Island, where they try to infiltrate the new headquarters of this organization.

Apart from the storyline, the zone offers a new "world boss", new Delves, a public dungeon, 12-person expedition (Trial - Ossein Cage), antiques, items, collectibles and other attractions to check out.

Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2

The second chapter of the expansion takes players to the eastern part of the Solstice Island, which was previously separated by a powerful barrier (Writhing Wall), erected by the Worm Cult using soul magic. The plan is for the players to overthrow it together as part of a one-time event, which will precede the premiere of Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2.

The eastern part of the zone is less picturesque and more dangerous than the western one, bringing additional world bosses, caves, another public dungeon, as well as items and other rewards.
