Toribash Next is the second installment in a series of unusual turn-based fighting games originating from 2006. Like the first game, it was developed by an indie Singapore team Nabi Studios.
Mechanics
Toribash Next expands upon the mechanics of the first game. We play as arena fighters, competing in brawls, aikido battles, samurai duels, gunfights, trick shows and parkour.
Unlike other fighting games, combat is turn-based, with players having total control over their character's individual muscles and ts, flexing, relaxing, bending and straightening them to determine their exact movements. Players can punch and kick each other, as well as wield various weapons, like swords and guns.
Characters can be customized appearance-wise, while progressing through the game lets us gather resources used to unlock custom fighters. There's also a replay editor, letting players create scenes reminiscent of action movies.

Toribash Next s singleplayer and multiplayer for up to four people.
Technical aspects
Toribash Next features colorful, cartoonish graphics. Fighters are made up of simple shapes, while their muscles and ts are represented by spheres, distinguishing them from the rest of their bodies.
