Plot
Story-wise, UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves adapts the original work. The game's protagonist is Prince Umon Daisuke, a refugee from his home planet, which was destroyed by the Empire of Vega. He settles down on Earth, but the genocidal threat endangers the blue planet as well - the protagonist, thus, decides to defend it at all costs. Piloting Grendizer, a mighty mecha, he protects the Earth from the deadly Monstronefs.
Mechanics
UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves is mostly a third-person game. We'll spend most of our time piloting Grendinzer, traversing the world and completing quests. Occasionally we'll also control Daisuke on foot, meeting and talking to charming characters.
Our robot can move on the ground and in the air, using its Spazer module. Players will face plenty of enemies on their journey. Our primary enemies, robotic Monstronefs, can be engaged in melee combat or gunfights resembling old-school shoot 'em ups. As we progress through the game, we upgrade Grendizer, unlocking and upgrading its skills and attacks.
Technical aspects
UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves retains the original work's colorful, cartoonish artstyle. The developers did their best to recreate the well-known robots, characters and locations. The soundtrack consists of remastered tracks from the original anime.
