According to a report from Creatures of Ava, which didn’t hit the mark. That ended up weighing down their overall results.

In response, the company plans to diversify its projects in of both scale and development time, while also capitalizing on nearby, financially promising opportunities. He added:
Therefore, the decision to produce another project in the "Frostpunk" universe, which is already underway. We plan to make the game debut in 2027. At the same time, we initiated work on a slightly larger title, which will debut in 2029
Even though their 2024 results weren’t as strong as hoped – for themselves or their investors – the company says they’re in good financial shape. They’re confident that, even with all the investments going into new games, their cash situation will look even better by the end of 2025.
With The Alters set to release on June 13, 2025 (fingers crossed there aren’t any more delays!), there’s still plenty of time to bounce back financially this year. If you tried the demo, you know the game’s looking really promising. Sure, launching a new IP is always a bit of a gamble, but I honestly think this one’s got what it takes.
