30 days to Return Games on GOG.com; Company Updates Refund Policy

GOG.com has updated its refund policy. From now on, customers of the platform will be able to get a refund for the game they've bought on the website up to 30 days after the purchase, regardless of the time they've spent playing.

GOG.com s have been informed today of a change to its voluntary refund policy. The website has great confidence in its clients and now allows them to ask for a refund up to 30 days from the game's date of purchase, regardless of whether it was ed, launched and tested. This is undoubtedly an extremely generous offer, especially when compared to competitors like Steam. On the other hand, due to the nature of the games sold in the store (no DRM), the website cannot really control what happens to the purchased titles - unless we use the Galaxy client - and must rely on the goodwill of the customers.

After filing the refund request, GOG.com will offer us two solutions. Within a few days, we will receive the money directly to our or returned to our store wallet. Refunds on the same are applicable to expansions and DLCs, as well as promotional packages. This also applies to pre-orders (up to 30 days after the game's release). However, GOG.com will protect itself from abuse and will indicate that this process is not automatic. If a abuses the system, they will be refused.
