AMD is Preparing Navi 14 Budget GPU - Will it be the Successor of Radeon RX 570?
From the information that appeared in the Compubench database, we learned that AMD is working on three mysterious graphics cards based on Navi 14. Everything indicates that we will see the successors of cheaper cards from the Polaris family.

There are indications that AMD is working not only on top-of-the-range graphics cards, but also on new lower priced GPU. Based on the Navi 14 architecture, the new models will most likely replace the Polaris family of chipsets.
How did we know about them?
Interestingly, we learned about the cards not from official announcements, but from Compubench benchmark database. In a public archive, there are entries for new Navi 14 GPUs (code name GFX1012). The information contained therein shows that the cards in question are lower-shelf cards equipped with 24 computing units and 1536 stream processors. The chip is clocked at 1.9 GHz and comes in three memory variants - 3 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB.
In of performance, it seems to be slightly better than the Radeon RX 570 based on the Polaris 20 GPU. The new AMD models should, therefore, be faster than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, but slower than the GTX 1660. It's hard to predict how it will be in reality at the moment because the available data is scarce. However, it does not look bad for models that should cost less than $250.
Work's on.
We still don't know exactly what AMD's plan is - maybe the GPU are being developed to replace the RX 570, RX 580 and RX 590, which will be cheaper as well? Certainly many people would be happy to hear that. In light of recent statements by the AMD president - Lisa Su - and reports from Phoronix, who claims that drivers for Navi 14 will also be included in the Linux package Mesa 19.2, it can be expected that we will officially hear about new cards sooner than later.
