Info about the AMD Ryzen 5000 U series has appeared online. The leaks speak of an APU based on RDNA2 and Zen 3 architecture.

- Documents related to Dell's notebooks leaked to the web;
- The planned devices are to be equipped with AMD Ryzen 5000;
- APUs used by the laptops are called Cezanne;
- The U will be equipped with RDNA2 based GPU.
There have been a lot of leaks lately. Just a few days ago we reported on possible prices of Intel's new Us, and today we present a handful of news about AMD Ryzen 5000. All the information comes from a leak of Dell's documents. The company plans to produce notebooks that will be equipped with AMD Ryzen 5000 U. According to the reports, we can expect their release next year. It's worth mentioning that the processors from the previous series - Ryzen 4000 - are just starting to appear on the mobile market, so the interval between the two series is small.

The processors are to be based on Zen 3 architecture, so they will be manufactured in 7nm lithography. AMD's solutions are to lead to increased performance as well as lower power consumption, which is essential for mobile processors.
According to AMD's plans, the Ryzen 5000 processors are to be equipped with a graphics chip based on the RDNA2 architecture. This gives us hope for ray tracing , because this architecture introduces hardware for the technology. This would be very good news, especially since the processors will also be available in a desktop version after the appearance of the Ryzen 5000 series on the mobile market.

Dell plans to prepare 4 variants of notebooks equipped with these chips. They are to have high refresh rate (from 120 to 360 Hz), which may suggest their gaming potential. Please note, of course, that these are leaks and there is no absolute certainty that the information provided here is true. However, many of them are consistent with what AMD predicted. All we can to do is wait.
