Answer to Egyptian Tomb in Cookie Jam
Ancient Egypt was in my opinion one of the most interesting civilizations. Even with the lack of technologies that we know today, they created impressive buildings like Abu Simbel, Luxor Temple or Great Sphinx of Giza. One of the Buzzwords from Cookie Jam asks you about probably the most recognizable construction. So, what Egyptian Tomb is called?
- Pyramid
Pyramids are big constructions which look like triangles. They can be found in many parts of the world, however the Egyptian ones are the most known. Why? This civilization built many of these constructions. They were built of bricks or stones and to this point more than 130 have been discovered. It was the place where pharaohs and their consorts were buried.
However, Pyramids aren’t only tombs built by ancient Egyptians. The most known pharaohs – Ramesses II and Tutankhamun – were buried in Valley of the Kings. It’s an area of rock-cut crypts located near the city called Luxor.
