Assassin's Creed: Mirage is set to receive DLC developed with Saudi-backed Savvy Games group
Assassin's Creed: Mirage is finally set to receive DLC, but not before the release of AC: Shadows.

Assassin's Creed: Mirage is reportedly going to receive DLC after the release of AC: Shadows.
As reported by Les Echoes (via j0nathan / Video Games Chronicle), Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot is said to have reached an agreement with the Savvy Games team (owned by the Arab group Public Investment Fund) regarding the creation of a DLC for AC: Mirage. The content, scale, and exact release date of this expansion are unknown, but the new content is expected to be added to the game after the launch of Assassin's Creed: Shadows, which is scheduled for March 20 (after two delays).
The release of the AC: Mirage expansion may come as a surprise in the context of the reception of this title, because - to put it mildly - it was definitely not the best contemporary "Assassin." Nonetheless, Ubisoft assured that mentioned in April that although they didn't plan any DLCs at that time, they had ideas for continuing Basim's story.
However, let's underline that this is unofficial information. Officially, Ubisoft appears to be concentrating on the launch of the Japanese installment of the series, which represents the significant (and possibly final) hope for the French publisher following their recent "not-failures-but-also-not-completely-successful" games.
