Ubisoft didn't reveal much about the future of the Assassin's Creed: Infinity and subsequent installments of the series.

Quick reminder: this project isn't to be a single game but a kind of center that, like Animus, will allow players to experience various chapters of the Assassin saga. In practice, this will take the form of a not-quite-finished-game service.

That's essentially everything we officially know about AC: Infinity since 2022. From then on, Ubisoft has hardly mentioned this project at all. We learned more from recent information obtained by Tom Henderson from Insider-Gaming.

Infinity...

The insider's information mostly just validates what fans already knew or had guessed from previous leaks. Assassin's Creed: Infinity's role as the de facto Animus will be emphasized by the modern storyline that will begin with the release of officially released in the fiscal year, specifically between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025.

Regarding the "service" aspect, Infinity will encom both a cosmetic items store known as The Exchange and the so-called Projects, functioning on the basis of miniature battle es. These will be regularly added to the game and will center around specific assassins (in the case of AC: Red: Naoe and Yasuke), enabling the acquisition of additional cosmetic elements.

...and beyond

Henderson mentioned that "Projects" are intended to be released alongside the premieres of the next installments of the series or their expansions, as well as to keep players interested during the periods between them. "Large Assassins" are to be released every two years, and in the meantime, the series will be enriched with smaller installments. They will include the aforementioned AC: Red (2024), the online Invictus (2025), the cooperative and free-to-play Raid, the multiplayer Echoes and Black Flag.

All of these projects are expected to be released "by the end of the decade," according to Henderson's information.
