Ubisoft Employee Reveals Assassin's Creed Red Release Date; It's Relatively Close
Set in feudal Japan, Assassin's Creed: Red will apparently debut sooner than we might have expected. An Ubisoft employee has revealed the game's release date.

AC: Red. The production is of interest to a large portion of fans by the fact that it is the first "big" game in the series, which will be set in feudal Japan - a setting ideal for stealthy players with an interesting history. Despite little official information about the project being available, it looks like the game is scheduled for release in 2024.
This approximate release date was revealed by Ubisoft employee Arisa Lagunzad. As noted by a well-known profile Access The Animus on Twitter, the woman, searching for a "sponsorship partner" for the game through LinkedIn, described the title as "the biggest hit of 2024."
"Looking for a sponsorship partner for Assassin's Creed: Codename Red for the next year. [...] Do you want to collaborate on this biggest hit of 2024? I'd love to hear from you!"
Interestingly enough, Lagunzad's post has been edited and now there is no mention of next year's launch. So it is likely that the employee was either mistaken or gave away too much - at this point we can only guess.
It will be quite unexpected if AC: Red will indeed debut in 2024. Only recently began the marketing campaign for in different covers.
