Baldur's Gate 3's Dark Romance Finally Fixed; Players Grateful
Baldur's Gate 3 has received a new update. It is available both on PC and PS5. The patch fixed, among other things, the romance with Minthara.

Baldur's Gate III to perfection. Today the developer released another small update, a so-called "hotfix." Its size is a modest 109.6 MB on Steam and a slightly less modest 725 MB on GOG.
The patch introduces dozens of fixes - both to the version available on PC and the one for PS5, which will officially debut tomorrow, although s who preordered the Deluxe edition have been enjoying it since the day before yesterday. You can read the full list of changes here. I provide some of the most important ones below:
- Minthara's romance thread has been fixed - restored the missing dialogue lines and the possibility to continue the relationship with her in the third act. Interestingly, the remaining companions will comment on our relationship with this dark paladin;
- eliminated graphical problems on HDR TVs, as well as a bug that caused the sound to stop working (PS5);
- the multiplayer split-screen mode has been improved;
- minor improvements have been made to the interface.
As a reminder, let me add that by the end of November 2023 Baldur's Gate III is also scheduled to be released on XSX/S. The delay compared to the game's PS5 release resulted from the inability to implement the aforementioned split-screen co-op mode on the Xbox Series S. It will probably be added after the game hits Microsoft's consoles.
