Overwatch. The departure of the employees was confirmed by Blizzard Entertainment's spokesman.
"Yes, Eric, Dustin, and Jason made the decision to move on from Blizzard a few months ago. They have been and always will be considered of the Blizzard family, and we’ve loved working with them over the years. We wish them the best for the future. That said, we want to make sure it’s clear that development of Blizzard games has always been a collaborative effort between many talented, longstanding teammates here continuing that good work," the statement reads.
All these developers played an important role in working on the studio's key projects. Dustin Browder is a former director of Hearthstone, the former working as a director and the latter as a production director.
Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 will most likely be announced during this year's BlizzCon, which will start this Friday. The company is said to be working hard to get ready for the event that could be very important to it - especially considering the huge image failures that have occurred in the last twelve months.
