There are more and more competent productions that can be found on mobile devices, not only shovelware that we can often see in ads. Up until recently, it was normal that games flowed from PC to smartphones, but it’s becoming more and more common that the direction is reversed. Thanks to this crossplatformity, just recently we have witnessed the full release of Blood Strike on Steam, after its Early Access period. This successful battle royale is coming straight from Android and iOS, where on its native platforms, it has found numerous fans who graded it favorably. So now that the porting process has begun, what about consoles? Are there any plans for Blood Strike to become a thing on PS5, PS4, Xbox, or Switch? Let’s analyze the possibility.

Blood Strike on PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Switch explained

It can be disheartening to see a title that you’ve been waiting for being converted to a platform you do not own or is not very convenient for you. Blood Strike has just started its full-blown career on a new device, making a jump from Android and iOS systems. Many players would like to know if there is a chance for this game to propagate to consoles like PS5, PS4, Xbox, or Switch.

We should never say never, though sadly, in this case, the odds do not look favorable. Since the production is developed and published by NetEase, we can assume that it is unlikely that the console port is a part of their plans for the future. Historically, this studio is known for focusing mostly on mobile and PC markets, leaving consoles behind.

However, there might be a slight chance that it will go differently this time around, as recently NetEase has been Marvel Rivals has been prepared by this developer that is also available on those platforms. Having all of that in mind, it is probably safe to say that even if Blood Strike is converted to consoles, Nintendo Switch will be left behind, as even the most prominent titles from this dev have not made it to that device.

If you would like to voice your opinion about this matter, it is never a bad idea to do so on Blood Strike’s official Discord server. Who knows, maybe if the creators see how the port matters to their fans, they will be more eager to make it happen. Good luck!
