One tweet from Sony was enough to get fans of Bloodborne excited - and then annoyed. The company deleted the post, but the chaos remained. Will something emerge from it?

Remaster or remake of FromSoftware's soulslike game released more than seven years ago has been avoided for a long time. Until today.

On Sony's Twitter profile, for the first time in years, we saw a post related to Bloodborne. Nothing much - just a zoomed in piece of the game's cover art and a query as to whether the fans were able to guess the game's title based on it. However, this was enough to cause chaos in the community.

Many people began to speculate that Sony was preparing some kind of announcement. As if to cut off any discussion on the subject, the post was very quickly deleted - which further annoyed the already agitated fans. "If you have no intention of announcing anything, don't give us hope," was the thought emanating from the statements of most of them.

Of course, the post was preserved online. You can see it below.

It should be added here that these types of tweets are nothing new on Sony's profile. For example, last week the company expansion for it.

Thus, it can be concluded that fans of FromSoftware's games took advantage of Sony's ill-advised decision to inform the company of their expectations. Nevertheless, it cannot be completely ruled out that the situation does indeed have a second bottom. If so, all the more reason to look forward to the PlayStation Showcase event, which is rumored to have been delayed in order to - indirectly - hinder Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
