Distant Land. However, there is one, basic mechanic, which is as much problematic, maybe even more, than others – destruction of buildings. Can you do that?

Can you demolish buildings in Civilization 7 (Civ 7)?

It may not be surprising for many of you, but Civilization 7 heavily depends on building. Some structures can even positively influence each other. Moreover, there are objectives which require you to create quarters with proper buildings (for example “Efficiency in numbers”). However, you have to think over each decision, as they are permanent.

Yes, at this point you can’t destroy structures. If we add this to the one-building per city policy, we may find ourselves in a position when we can’t acquire some useful perks. Moreover, obviously, not all structures are available from the beginning, it can be quite problematic. So, keep that in mind and plan your city carefully! Think twice before you do anything.

Let’s cross our fingers that developers from Firaxis Games will reconsider their decision. Hopefully, such a useful feature as destroying buildings will be added sooner rather than later. If you have more questions, read our Civilization 7 guide. We have more tips to tell you.
