Capcom With Record-breaking Profits

Capcom boasted that Monster Hunter World sales exceeded 15 million copies. In turn, Iceborne has already found over 4.5 million buyers. The first three quarters of the current fiscal year have brought biggest profits in the publisher's history.

Capcom has published Iceborne, exceeded 4.5 million units. It is worth adding that both results also include sales of Monster Hunter: World Master Edition, i.e. a set containing the base game with the expansion.

Devil May Cry 5, but no specific figure was given for this production.

Between April 1 and December 31, 2019, the company generated $485.2 million in revenue, 13.6% less than in the corresponding period of 2018. Profits increased by 42.3% to 119.9 million dollars, the highest 9-month result in Capcom's history.

The report also shows well how important digital distribution is for the company. It ed for 372.2 million of the $485.2 million in revenue. The publisher also itted that most of the sales of Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne used the same distribution channel.

The company expects good results for the current quarter. In January, a PC version of the Iceborne expansion was released, and this month will see the release of Megaman Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. In addition, this winter the mobile game Monster Hunter Riders is to debut on iOS and Android.
