CoD Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Announced; Launch in 2022
Activision has announced the next two installments of the Call of Duty series. They will be a sequel to 2019's Modern Warfare and a „new experience” related to the free-to-play CoD: Warzone. Both games will be released in 2022.

The game are to be designed "together from the ground up," meaning they will be powered by a new engine. The work on them is led by Infinity Ward. Particularly interesting promises to be the sequel to CoD: Warzone, which has been described as "a huge evolution in the battle royale genre with a completely new space and sandbox mode". More details on the game should be expected in the coming weeks.
