CoH 3 got a major update that improves maps and fixes troublesome mechanics
Company of Heroes 3 received a major update 2.0.5, which introduces a few gameplay changes.

Company of Heroes 3, the RTS from Relic Entertainment studio, has received a new update. The patch has been labeled as version 2.0.5 and brings a lot of anticipated changes.
- Many of them bring wanted fixes to the gameplay. For example, the construction time of field fortifications has been reduced, landmines now deal 50% less damage if detected, and the rate of fire of artillery units has been increased. It's now also easier to use craters as cover in multiplayer mode, as their depth has been standardized.
- The creators improved a series of maps in the game. These are mostly small changes aimed at improving the balance of gameplay. The Mignano Summit is the exception here. It has been completely revamped - instead of a lush battlefield, it now looks like a war-torn location with many barriers and buildings removed.
- The balance of the multiplayer mode has been improved, mainly in of combat groups (patch 2.0.5 improves seventeen of them)
- There were also plenty of technical bug fixes and interface improvements.
To encourage players to check out the game after this update on Steam, a sale has been organized. It allows you to buy Company of Heroes 3 for $29.99, which is half the standard price. The offer will remain valid until May 5th.
Company of Heroes 3 launched on PC in February 2023, and three months later, it was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. The game turned out to be a big disappointment, as evidenced by the fact that only 59% of player reviews on Steam praise this title. However, the latest patches have improved the reception of the game, counting only reviews from the last 30 days, 64% praise it.
The failure of the game resulted in a "divorce" between Sega company and Relic studio. With the help of an investor, the devs bought themselves out, and thus the team regained its independence.
