Toys for Bob has announced that it will be assisting with work on Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone. This means that from now on all the studios under Activision are working on one franchise.

Update: Activision has given GamesRadar a clarification on the fate of Toys for Bob. According to the company, the studio will continue to develop Crash Bandicoot 4 and make "engaging games" in the future.

Toys for Bob announced that it will be ing Raven Software as it works on Crash Bandicoot in recent years will now be helping to develop the battle royale game.
A short post published on Twitter by Toys for Bob doesn't reveal details about what exactly they will be involved in on Call of Duty: Warzone. According to the company's announcement, more information will be revealed soon.

It's worth keeping in mind that Warzone's technical condition leaves a lot to be desired. Subsequent reports of bugs in the title regularly flood the Internet. Last week, just after the launch of season 3, it turned out that the new map enables players to fall under the map and attack other players from that area. At the same time, the title, as well as the entire Call of Duty franchise, enjoys extraordinary popularity. No wonder Activision is trying at all costs to keep it relevant.
However, the fact that after the announcement of the collaboration two people associated with Toys for Bob informed that they ended their cooperation with the company is alarming. They are illustrator Nicholas Kole and gameplay designer Blake Maloof. This may suggest that the redirection to work on Warzone did not take place painlessly.
At this point, the fate of further remakes and new installments of iconic franchises owned by Activision has become uncertain. Besides Toys for Bob, the architect of the success of the whole action of resurrecting various IPs was Vicarious Visions, which created Diablo II: Resurrected. All the other studios under Activision (Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Sledgehammer, Raven, Beenox, and High Moon) had already been redirected to work on Call of Duty.
