CS:GO Breaks Dota 2's Historic Activity Record

Yesterday Counter-Strike: Global Offensive broke another activity record on Steam. Interestingly, at the same time, the game broke the historic result established by Dota 2 in 2016.

Another record of the number of active CS players.

This is a great start to the year for we wrote about the fact that for the first time in the history of Valve's shooter, more than one million s were playing the game at the same time. But this is old news, as yesterday (according to Steam Charts) exactly 1,305,714 people were playing CS at the hottest moment of the day.

Thus, the title has broken the activity record established by operation was introduced, adding new character models (including female).

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has also significantly contributed to the increase in the number of active players (who, whether they want to or not, are forced to sit at home). What's more, Valve released a new Valorant, on the market of online shooters will probably make Valve's developers take further steps to refresh the game and keep the players interested.
