The history of Dungeonborne, which was left for dead after being a very successful entry in the genre initially. Now, Dark and Darker enters its 6th Season in Early Access, introducing many changes to the gameplay like adding Adventure Mode for solo explorers, who would like to focus on PvE. Also, the trade market has been closed, so if that bothers you and you wonder why, here you will learn all you need to know.
Season 6 in Dark and Darker explained
There is a feeling of thrill and unknown in exploring uncharted, magical dungeons filled with all kinds of fantasy creatures and… other adventures. The last part did not appeal to a group of Dark and Darker fans, who would rather not fight with others. Fortunately, in Season 6, developers from Ironmace have listened to those voices and added Adventure Mode that will let you explore the depths without fear of bumping into other hostile treasure hunters. But that’s only one of the major changes introduced in the new season.
In one of the posts on DaD’s official Discord Server the creators have informed about the closure of trade market. Do not be worried, though, as it’s only a temporary measure. The market is said to be unavailable for the first two weeks of Season 6 to add more gravity and weight to finding your own loot in the dungeons. And this feat can be more difficult than ever due to new monsters that will start stalking the cold and wet corridors leading to freshly added dungeon modules of this fantasy world. Of course, you won’t be wandering aimlessly, as with the start of Season 6, more quests will be waiting for you to complete. The full patch notes can be found on the aforementioned Discord server.
All of this is pretty impressive considering that the title is still in Early Access and is free-to-play, so if anything, you risk nothing by giving it a go. Gather your team and venture to the cold and dark maze of the world of Dark and Darker, whether you would like to combat other fortune seekers or if you’d rather explore dungeons without PvP.
