IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Some fans have not come to with the decision to abandon Days Gone;
  • A petition appeared in the web, in which they demand resuming of work on the sequel;
  • So far only 26 thousand people have signed it.

As described the game's concept that was presented to the publisher. His vision clearly aroused the desires of some fans of the first installment, who created an online petition aimed at convincing Sony to resume work on the sequel.

In its description, the author clearly shows his frustration over the cancelation of the sequel to the game, which ended in a cliffhanger. He also claims that millions of other players are also waiting for the project. Unfortunately, these words do not translate into the number of signatures. After a week after creating the petition, it was ed by almost 27 thousand people. It's doubtful that such number will be able to change Sony's decision.

Officially, it's not clear why the company has given up on investing in the sequel. However, Ross has suggested that in Sony's eyes, sales and ratings for Days Gone were too low for the game's sequel to be greenlit. Given this, the success of an online petition signed by a handful of people seems even less likely.
