Deus Ex: Revision mod overhauls the 2000 classic
Owners of a Steam copy of Deus Ex can now install Deus Ex: Revision mod. This fan-made overhaul introduces significantly improved graphics, adds new soundtrack, and more.
The original Deus Ex just received a major modification called Deus Ex: Revision. The mod is actually a fan-made overhaul of the classic RPG game originally released in 2000. It features re-designed locations, new soundtrack composed by EdenShard (based on the original score), as well as combined content of several other Deus Ex mods, such as Direct3D 9 rendering, high-resolution textures, high-detail 3D models, and alternative gameplay modes. The project was actually approved by Eidos Montreal. Here is what the head of the studio, David Anfossi, said:

Deus Ex: Revision is available now on Steam. The modification is free for all owners of Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition, which is currently on sale for $1.39.
