Today, a major resurgence when it was released on PlayStation 5 a few months ago and introduced crossplay. One month after this new launch, the Steam player count steadily rose from around four thousand average players to an all-time peak of twenty-three thousand. Players are sticking around for Arma Reforger, and with official mod on PlayStation 5, that likely won’t change anytime soon.

Arma Reforger mods are coming to PS5 and fans will finally stop begging for it

The official social media page for Arma Reforger, Arma Platform, shared the news with introduced regular updates to keep players coming back for more.

Overall, this is great news for fans of Arma Reforger, but if you’ve been paying attention to the community lately, you will probably sense the underlying tone of “alright fine.” In the video posted by Arma Platform, the common question “PS5 mods when” appears in giant text behind the characters, followed by a massive 3D “SOON” crashing down to earth, almost as if to silence the constant badgering. Some of the responses on social media echo this, with one writing, in all caps, “FINALLY THEY WILL SHUT UP.” Another asked when Arma 4 (a game that isn’t planned to release until 2027) will come to PS5, prompting the team to react with the classic Michael Scott angry face GIF, jokingly sharing their lack of patience on ridiculous fan requests.

Mods can be a tricky subject, depending on the game. Some, like Arma Reforger and Bloodborne that didn’t even change content; it only upped the frame rate to 60 FPS. Hopefully, this mod for PS5 players will continue to allow Arma Reforger players to enjoy the game in all kinds of new ways for years to come.
