Fast and Furious Hobbs & Shaw 2 Will be Made
Dwayne Johnson, the actor playing Hobbs in Hobbs & Shaw, announced that the next installment of the series will be made. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, it is unknown when the filming will begin.
Yesterday, we found out that the spin-off series of the Fast & Furious series - Hobbs and Shaw - will get a new installment. Dwayne Johnson, the actor playing Hobbs, informed about it on Instagram (via Comicbook). According to the actor, the production does not have a director yet and is only at the concept stage (the creators are wondering in what direction the series is to go), but the crew is ready for action. Due to the coronavirus pandemic it is not known when the filming will start.
Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaw debuted last July. The title did quite well on the market, making its debut in reaching first spot in the weekend ranking of Box Office US. The production also had a successful launch in several other countries. Let's also remind that the ninth part of the main Fast & Furious series will be released later than planned. The movie will not be released until April 2021.
