To talk about Access Violation, we need to go back in time to the pre-release times. as the problem started with demo. It seems that the issue could be fixed by clearing cloud saves or running the game as . So, you can try that. Of course, fans hoped that the error will not reappear after the full PC release. It seems that it is here with us.

Some players report that they still experience this problem. It happens in different situations and for different reasons, so there is no one good solution.

  1. Try the fixes mentioned above (clearing saves and running the game as ).
  2. files.
  3. Deactivate all overlays.
  4. Re the game, especially if you use “Ultrawide Fix” and check out if the game works properly without it.

Sadly, there is no guarantee that FF16 will work after doing the above, as there are various sources of the same error code. Taking into consideration the fact that Access Violation is with us since pre-release, it is unlikely that it will be fixed by developers anytime soon. However, never say never. Let’s hope for the best.
