FromSoftware's big mistake has been fixed. Elden Ring: Nightreign now has two-players mode thanks to a mod
It took modder LukeYui a mere 2 days to add the missing two-player mode to Elden Ring: Nightreign.

LukeYui is a creative fan who specializes in developing mods that alter multiplayer modes in FromSoftware games. Once again, the creator has impressed the community of fans of this studio, as he released his first modification for Elden Ring: Nightreign just two days after the game's release.
The mod is called Seamless Co-op, just like similar projects for Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series. This modification introduces one very significant new feature: it allows players to enjoy the game in two-person teams. By default, the game only s solo play or three-player groups. FromSoftware’s developers recently itted that omitting the two-player mode was a mistake and stated that they are considering adding it after launch. Thanks to LukeYui, PC players don’t have to wait for an official update and can already experience this gameplay variant.
It’s worth noting that playing with this mod does not put you at risk of getting banned. This modder’s modifications do not connect to FromSoftware’s official servers. The mod also creates separate game saves, so there’s no need to worry about ruining your character from the standard game mode.
