Fullscreen Mode in Black Myth Wukong Explained
In Black Myth Wukong developers did not implement fullscreen. In graphics settings you will find only two display modes – borderless and windowed. What does this mean for performance?
Unavailable in Black Myth Wukong, fullscreen gives games full control over display and your computer focuses mainly on the title. This can increase your framerate by various number if done correctly.
Borderless is particularly useful for impatient players, who Alt-Tab during loading screens. This mode gives you easier access to other applications. So, you can switch between them without any problems. Additionally, this does not lock your cursor. So, if you have two screens, you can freely navigate on each of them. However, this can cause worse game performance (framerate drop). Luckily, in Windows 11 settings you can turn on “Optimizations for windowed games“ function.
