GPU Prices to Increase Even Further
It looks like mid-February could see another price hike for thr already privey graphics cards. All thanks to increased memory prices.

IN A NUTSHELL:
- Memory pice increases could lead to further price hike in GPU prices;
- The increases are likely to start after February 12.
If you are planning to buy a GPU in the near future, we do not have good news for you. All indications are that you will soon have to pay even more money for a GPU. This has to do with the expected increases in prices of memory used in this type of chips, namely GDDR5, GDDR6 or GDDR6X. The source of information is a Chinese website MyDrivers.
The increases will most likely occur after the Chinese New Year, or after February 12. The memory models mentioned above are used by manufacturers of both RTX 2000 series or Radeon RX 5000).
It is worth noting that today's reports should not be confused with another increase, caused by a new duty imposed on electronic equipment produced in China. These are two separate issues. All indications are that GPU prices could skyrocket to really unpleasant levels in the near future.
