For several years, Sony has been investing heavily in the PC gaming market, porting many of its biggest hits to PC. It turns out that these ports may soon be ed by Gran Turismo 7.
- During the Gran Turismo World Finals event currently taking place in Monaco, the head of the studio responsible for the series, Polyphony Digital, Kazunori Yamauchi, was asked by editors of GTPlanet, whether he would consider porting the series to PC.
- Yamauchi replied that he would. At the same time, he said that it would not be easy, as GT7 represents a very "precise" game and therefore it is necessary to ensure adequate gameplay performance, which could be a problem on weaker hardware.
- Polyphony Digital is currently considering the potential of such a port, so for now it's too early to make any official announcements.
