Rockstar Games Hires Famous Creators of RPG Mods for GTA 5 and RDR 2
Rockstar Games has announced the acquisition of Cfx.re, the team responsible for the FiveM and RedM role-play mods for GTA V and RDR 2.

With this move, the developers said they hope to be able to provide better for the roleplaying community in the future.
"We [...] recently expanded our mod policy to officially include those created by the roleplay community.
By working with the Cfx.re team, we will help them find new ways to this amazing community and improve the services they provide to their developers and players," reads the message.
of Cfx.re were quick to respond to the announcement. Via X/Twitter, they expressed their excitement about the partnership with Rockstar Games.
The fact that Rockstar has taken an independent team under their wing raises the question of whether the company will decide to provide its own content creation tools for GTA V and RDR2 to - after all - outsiders.
There is also the possibility that these actions could pave the way for dedicated mod in GTA VI as early as on the game's release. Ben, one of Rockstar Games' biggest subject matter experts, commetend on the situation.

We did not have to wait long for the first results of the cooperation. The official Rockstar Games page reported that FiveM and RedM have officially become part of the company's property, and any problems with them should be reported to Cfx.re (via Ben).
