Here's Fan-made Portal Remake on Unreal Engine 5
A beautiful video has surfaced online, showing what a remake of Portal on Unreal Engine 5 could look like.
Eleven years have ed since the release of Portal 2, and there is nothing to indicate that we will soon receive the third installment. The sadness of this situation is alleviated by fan projects. One of the latest is a video showing how a remake of the first part of the series could look like (posted below).
Its author is Alfred Beddow, an artist who recreated the first location in the game on Unreal Engine 5. The whole thing looks beautiful, especially that it uses ray tracing. Unfortunately, the project is only meant to showcase the artist's talents. He has no plans to make this map available to the public.
