Lost Skies is an action-adventure game with survival elements. Collecting a variety of materials in this dangerous world is crucial to survive. One such resource is Silica, which is initially hard to find. Many players wonder where it can be obtained in large quantities. Fortunately, with our guide, you will quickly learn where to find it.
How to get Silica in Lost Skies
Silica is a material that is crucial in crafting. With it you can create a research bench, but also many other useful things. Nevertheless, it is very hard to spot any Silica simply by walking and exploring. Keep your eyes peeled for dark blue corals. There are quite a few of them, as long as you know where to look. And their location can really surprise many players...
The key factor is to look for them not on the surface, but under. Namely, under the islands. The quickest way to find them is in Green Pines, although they can also be found on other islands. All you have to do is get over the edge of an island, jump down and use the grappling hook to attach yourself to the bottom. Then, using the hook, move until you see dark blue corals. Approach them, you can do so using the hook or simply cling to the wall and start climbing over it. Interacting with Silica will allow you to collect it. There are usually a few of them not far from others, so it's worth to strain your eyes and collect as many as you can.
that at the moment of writing this guide, Lost Skies is still in early access. What does it mean? Some mechanics, features or resources, Silica included, can be changed in the future updates. So, this resource may be easier (or harder) to acquire at some point.
