It’s not a BoJack crossover episode. Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 writer is co-delivering a ’90s rock satire
Get ready for a wild ride. Rockbeasts are taking the stage, so brace yourself for some serious guitar carnage.

With everyone focused on The Blood of Dawnwalker, Iggy Pup as the narrator, and characters straight out of a BoJack-style cartoon? Yeah, count me in! Lichthund just dropped a trailer for Rockbeasts, and it’s looking pretty intriguing. The game is set to launch in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch.
Grunge, gig life, and sellout temptations – Rockbeasts has it all
Rockbeasts is an RPG management game that lets us relive the wild, and often ridiculous, ’90s music scene. As a manager, we’ll guide our band through a world of rock anthems, questionable fashion, and the ever-present temptation to sell out.
Will we stay true to our artistic vision or give in to the corporate machine? The choices won’t be so easy. It all sounds like a sharp, satirical take on the music industry – and that’s my kind of jam!
With a band of anthropomorphic misfits, we’re aiming to be the next Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, or Nirvana. But someone has to keep this chaotic crew in check and get them gig-ready – and that someone is us.
We’ll be managing their gear, setlists, and even their meals, turning raw talent into a real show. It all starts with a small basement gig – because hey, every legend starts somewhere, right? Now we just need to find a way to reach the top.
Looks like I’ll be replaying this one a bunch just to explore every possible path and see how all the different endings play out. Especially with some familiar voices from Baldur’s Gate III. 2025 is shaping up to be a big year!
