Lara Croft returns in style, though there have been better times. Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered release on Steam wasn't overshadowed by minor bugs
Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered pleased fans of the series. The collection is getting good reviews on Steam, although it was not without a few issues.

Yesterday, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered was released. This is a set of three refreshed installments of the popular Lara Croft game series, developed by Aspyr Media studio. The collection appealed to fans, although it didn't attract as many people to the monitors as the previous bundle.
Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered - player activity and ratings
According to Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, at its peak - right after the launch - 6789 players were playing on Steam. So the record is noticeably higher.

Regarding the scores for set IV-VI, they are quite good. So far, 223 players have posted their review on Steam, and 92% of them are positive. For comparison: installments I-III currently have over 5,000 reviews and 90% of them are positive. It seems Aspyr Media has kept up its standards and once more provided a title that satisfied Lara Croft fans.
The majority of players on Steam believe that these are good remasters, as they retain the most important aspects of the originals while improving graphics and adding quality-of-life enhancements. However, it's not perfect, and the new set has minor problems, which fortunately didn't overshadow the good result.
Browsing the Steam forum, we can come across a few comments from players. Some of them believe, for instance, that the whole game is too dark, which was also supposed to be the case with parts I-III. There are also complaints about the cutscenes, which were made in 4:3 proportions, or too quiet sounds (a special mod has already been developed). However, most complaints are directed towards the sixth installment of the series, Angel of Darkness, which, besides the 60 fps limit, also has several other issues.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is available on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne, XSX/S, and Nintendo Switch.
