Larian previewed 8 out of 12 new character subclasses in Baldur's Gate 3. Patch 8 release is getting close
Larian Studios released a video discussing more subclasses from the Patch 8 for Baldur's Gate 3.

Even though many players believed Patch 7 would be the final major update for Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios plans to release another big update in 2025. The update for the hit RPG will introduce, among other things, the cross-play feature and a photo mode. However, the most interesting seems to be the 12 new subclasses. A few weeks ago we learned the details about four of them, and now it's time for the next ones.
In the latest material released on YouTube, Larian Studios revealed some info about the Paladin, Arcane Archer, Monk, and Swarmkeeper.
Oath of the Crown Paladin: guards law and order, putting the welfare of society first. During clashes, they can use the Divine Devotion spell, which absorbs damage dealt to allies while simultaneously restoring their health.
Arcane Archer: a Warrior subclass characterized by excellent bowmanship, from which it sends magical arrows capable not only of blinding and weakening enemies, but also sending them to the Feywild, where they will spend time until the end of the next turn. If his ranged attack misses, the Arcane Archer can change the trajectory of the arrow to hit a different target.
Drunken Master Monk: likes to have one, thanks to which he can deliver a punch that intoxicates the opponent. This technique not only disrupts the balance of the target, but also buffs the Monk. He can inflict immediate sobriety on the intoxicated victim, causing her both physical and psychological harm.
Swarmkeeper Ranger: by forming a strong bond with nature, they are able to connect with swarm creatures, which protect them from blows and assist in teleportation. Swarmkeepers can also use three types of creatures in battle - groups of jellyfish that inflict electric damage, swarms of shadows that use psychic and blinding attacks, and a legion of bees that sting the opponent, compelling them to test their strength (if they fail, they are pushed back 4.5 meters).
We still don't know exactly when Patch 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released. Nonetheless, the update has been tested for some time now and has received a handful of improvements. The fact that Larian Studios has already introduced 8 out of 12 new subclasses suggests that Patch's launch is just a matter of a few weeks away at most.
