Lollipop Chainsaw Remaster Will Introduce Gameplay Improvements; Surprisingly, Fans are Calm
The developer of the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP said more about the gameplay changes that will appear in the revamped version of the 2012 game. In total, he mentioned three improvements.

For a long time now Lollipop Chainsaw will get a refreshed version. It was supposed to hit the hands of fans this year, but in the end it will debut next summer at the earliest. However, every cloud, as they say... - the game's producer has revealed, what changes will be made to the gameplay.
Changes tailored to modern gamers
Yoshimi Yasuda, producer of the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, revealed the extent of the gameplay changes on X. The goal of the gameplay improvements, he wrote, is to:
"(...) turn combat into something that today's console gamers can have fun with."
RePOP will feature at least three new elements that Yasuda mentioned:
- increased dynamics of clashes - the goal is to eliminate the impression of "slowness" of the combat system;
- better synchronization of "combos" using cheerleading and chainsaw attacks;
- improved camera behavior.
s, surprisingly, received the news of the changes very positively. Virtually no negative or critical comments appeared, so it's clear that fans have full confidence in Dragami Games, which is developing the remaster of Lollipop Chainsaw (until recently still referred to as a remake).
"I'm definitely excited about the new gameplay!," wrote one .
"Great. If there will be no censorship, I'm all for it," commented another .
Concerns about censorship in RePOP are almost universal. Many fans of the original game worry that the developers will "modernize" the game and thus deprive it of the atmosphere that attracted players.
No word on the PC version
Yasuda also mentioned in his post about "today's console gamers". This may suggest that the highly-anticipated remaster will only hit these devices, bying the PC. The game's lack of release for this platform was already heavily criticized on the occasion of the original.
For now, we have yet to officially know the platforms on which it will play Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. So let's hope that the developer simply "forgot" and did not include PC s through absentmindedness.
Original Lollipop Chainsaw was released in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. On Metacritic the Xbox console version has accumulated 64 reviews from critics, and the average rating is a solid 70/100.
