Mafia 4 Officially Confirmed
The twentieth birthday of the Mafia series has brought us official confirmation that work on the next installment of the series is underway. At this point, however, we do not have any details about the game.

On the occasion of the 20th birthday of the first Mafia, the series' official website posted an interview with the creators. It included official confirmation that Hangar 13 is working on the next installment of the series.
This information was provided by media director Roman Hladík. However, he did not reveal any details about the project. All that is known is that the premiere will not happen anytime soon and we will have wait for it for a few more years to see the game.
"I'm happy to confirm we've started work on an all-new Mafia project! While it's a few years away and we can't share anything more right now, we're really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories."
Rumors about suggest that the action will take place in Sicily at the turn of the 20th century. In of design, the game is expected to resemble the first two installments of the series. This would mean that we will be dealing with a more linear title, which will not necessarily be a typical sandbox, even if it receives an open world.
