Marvel's Avengers Bug Reveals Player IP Addresses During Streams
Marvel's Avengers bug causes PS5 streamers to unwillingly reveal their IP numbers to viewers. A hotfix is on its way, expected to be released this afternoon.

Crystal Dynamics scored a major blunder. The latest patch (1.8.0) for Marvel's Avengers reveals the IP adresses of PlayStation 5 players while streaming. The numbers are simply displayed on the screen during the stream.
The issue only affects s playing on the PS5. The developers have already been notified of the situation and promised a fix. Until then, they are asking PlayStation 5 owners to refrain from streaming Marvel's Avengers.
Fortunately, PS5 streamers won't have to wait long for the problem to be fixed. The developers are already working on a fix and it will be released today around 8 AM PT.
This is a bad time for this kind of slip-ups, because fans of Marvel's Avengers are currently taking part in the Cosmic Cube event, which was launched by the aforementioned update 1.8.0. As part of the event, a new sector with villains has been made available and some missions have been changed.
Marvel's Avengers was released on September 4, 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Google Stadia. The versions for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 were released on March 18, this year.
