Microsoft Fights Back in UK; Company Appeals CMA's Decision
Microsoft has appealed CMA's decision literally at the last moment. The fight on British soil over the merger with Activision continues.

Immediately after the unfavorable verdict of the British CMA, Microsoft and Activision representatives declared that they would appeal the decision. They did so, too.
As reported by Bloomberg, a Microsoft spokesman has filed a formal appeal to the CMA's verdict on the gaming giants' merger, which has dragged on for more than a year. This came on the last date allowed, which was yesterday.
This means that the case will be referred to the Competition Appeals Tribunal (CAT), which will decide whether the CMA's opinion will be upheld.
