Will this year's edition of GDC take place at all?

The list of companies that resigned from participation in this year's edition of Game Developers Conference (GDC) has just expanded by several other large brands. This time it's Microsoft, Unity and Epic Games (via Kotaku and Venture Beat). The reason for their resignation is the same as their predecessors - the fear of the on-going coronavirus epidemic.

However, it is worth knowing that Microsoft decided to move its presentation, which was supposed to take place during the GDC, to the period from March 16 to 18. This show will only take place online and everyone will be able to watch it in their own home at this address. Epic Games will do the same.

In addition to the aforementioned companies, cancellation of Mobile World Congress 2020 in Barcelona.
