Might & Magic Showdown will be shut down by the end of this month
Ubisoft is terminating the development of Might & Magic Showdown. The tactical PvP combat arena game with virtual figurines will be officially closed by the end of July.

Might & Magic Showdown has been immediately removed from Steam Store, but those who already own it will be able to play it until the end of the month. Note that Ubisoft is offering full refunds to Early Access players until July 31, 2017, but you need to specifically ask for that – here’s how do to it.
The official statement doesn’t mention the reason behind the decision to cancel Might & Magic Showdown, but that becomes pretty obvious when you look at the game’s stats on SteamSpy. Might & Magic Showdown has only got about 3,000 owners and the peak number of concurrent players yesterday was… 3. Not a great score for a multiplayer-focused title. It seems that players didn’t really like the tactical combat take on the famous RPG series. Let’s hope another iteration of the Might & Magic series will fare better.
