There is exactly one week left until the release of MindsEye, so the developers should be working at full capacity. Meanwhile, two directors have left the Build A Rocket Boy (BARB) studio without giving a reason for their departure.

Riley Graebner (Director of Marketing) and Paul Bland (Financial Director) resigned from their jobs at the company. This first one decided to inform about this fact in an announcement published on LinkedIn.

After three and a half years my time at BARB has come to a close. I'm proud of what we've accomplished. During that time we more than doubled the size of the company to over 450 employees. We launched multiple products worldwide. We built the legal team and legal ops infrastructure from the ground up, working to systemize and automate.

One clue about the reasons for both employees' decisions could be the words of the company's co-CEO, Marek Gerhard, spoken on the game's Discord server. He claimed that all the negative reviews that have appeared so far about MindsEye were paid for.

The commotion about these departures has raised concerns about the game among the players. Many people suspect that things aren't going well in the studio, and some fans have even decided to cancel their pre-orders in advance, expecting poor quality of the title after the recent news. We will soon find out how the game of the Build A Rocket Boy company will turn out. MindsEye will be released on June 10, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
