Moon Studios Like Larian, No Rest for the Wicked Devs Certain of Game's Quality
The developers of No Rest for the Wicked have explained why they decided to release this action RPG in early access. They are not afraid of bad reception of the production, since they are confident about its quality.

In just over a month, theOri platformer series, are responsible for it. Contrary to the studio's usual practice, the developers decided to release this game in early access for a change.
Thomas Mahler, CEO of Moon Studios, commented on this in an interview for Game Informer:
I think with games of this complexity, there's just no other way. Either you make smaller things and you don't dare to take those risks, and then you can perfect it, or you can make a game of this scale and you're okay with, 'Okay, not everything is going to be immediately perfect.'
No Rest for the Wicked is a much more ambitious game than the Ori series, so slower development and paying attention to fan seems to make sense. Although the developers it that they are perfectionists and would like everything to be perfected right away, they are not afraid of mistakes -- which they will inevitably avoid in early access -- because they believe that if a title provides enough fun, players will like it, and those they will forgive their shortcomings. The creators will be able to respond to these.
This thinking can be compared to the approach of Larian studio, which released positive reviews, and the creators still regularly release patches.
No Rest for The Wicked will debut on April 18 in Steam Early Access. The final version of the production will also be released on PS5 and XSX/S.
