NaturalVision Enhanced was finally released. It’s a newest in a series of mods that improve Grand Theft Auto V’s graphics. This one has been made with GTA 5 Enhanced in mind and was developed to take full advantage of the new ray tracing features that this edition of game offers.

The mod features reworked weather, lighting, ambient colors, world textures, models, and vegetation. The aim of it’s creators was “ to breath new life into San Andreas—blurring the line between imagination and reality with every bit of detail”

  1. NaturalVision Enhanced (NVE Enhanced) - the mod

The most import ant element is the ray tracing options. The improvements include:

  1. Enhanced range of the RTGI (ray tracing global illumination) effect.
  2. Enhanced strength of the RTAO (ray-traced ambient occlusion) effect.
  3. A slider for players to control the settings, as the increased RTGI minimally affects the frame rate.

As you can see from the launch trailer above the difference the mod makes is enourmous. It’s just the beginning through as the authors have promised further improvements that will be added in months. It’s worth mentioning that, at least for now, the mod only s singleplayer mode.
