Nvidia Ampere GPU Coming in the First Half of 2020
Another source suggests that next-gen GPUs from Nvidia - the Ampere family - will be available in the first half of 2020. The GPUs are to be produced in Samsung's 7nm EUV technological process.

Nvidia Ampere chipsets are to be produced in Samsung's 7nm EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet Litography). This means that with their launch, Nvidia will catch up with AMD in of technology, and perhaps even gets a bit ahead of its competitor - the 7nm EUV is said to be more advanced than the solution used in TSMC's factories, with which AMD cooperates. It is worth noting here that so far Nvidia GPUs have also been built on TSMC's production lines - the change was decided only now and perhaps the reason for this decision is the greater potential of the EUV.
Switching to 7nm EUV should bring significant performance gains and energy savings. Of course, Dr Lisa Su and her partners will also make progress in the coming months - we know that the new Radeon will be produced in the improved 7nm+ lithography and will also debut in 2020. The products are to offer ray tracing hardware and very fast HBM2E memory. It should also be ed that Intel will soon the competition in this market. It's gonna be hot in here next year.
