Original Sin 2 is Happening. This will be What Baldur’s Gate II Was to BioWare
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is in the works, Larian Studios announced. Kickstarter campaign will launch on 26 August. This is when the developers are going reveal more details about the game.
Larian Studios officially announced Divinity: Original Sin, allowing them to give more attention to content and gameplay. Swen Vincke, CEO in Larian Studios said:
„Put simply, if you were to compare what we’re doing to what Bioware did back in the day with Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2, D:OS 2 is to be our Baldur’s Gate 2 - building further on our equivalent of Baldur’s Gate; D:OS.”
We will learn more about Divinity: Original Sin II when Kickstarter campaing starts later this month, on August 26th. Larian Studios will also be showing the game’s prototype at Pax Prime (28-31 August).
